Overview

Are you interested in a part-time role that helps keep our schools clean and orderly for the students? Do you take pride in your cleanliness? Is showing up to work every day important to you? If so, this may be the perfect position for you.

The School District of South Milwaukee is currently hiring cleaners. The Operations Department is looking for candidates interested in part-time hours, working in our schools to provide a clean learning environment for students.

Job responses include, but are not limited to:

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floor surfaces and stairways.
• Clean and sanitize all facets of classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways.
• Wash, dust, clean whiteboards, windows, locker exteriors, and drinking fountains.
• Empty waste baskets and pencil sharpeners.
• Replenish soap, hand sanitizer, and paper supplies.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be able to lift and/or move 30 pounds, such as cleaning supplies, garbage cans, etc.

Current shifts are 3.5 hours Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm (flexible during the summer).

Starting rate is $14.75 per hour.
