Position Overview
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are recruiting a qualified keyboard tutor to teach both children and adult classes at Lanark Memorial Hall.

Hours:
3.3 hours per week (annualised)
Shift pattern:
Tuesday 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Duration:
Temporary until 30 September 2026
Salary: £17.72 – £18.21 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Deliver an ongoing program of progressive keyboard classes and courses for a wide range of age groups.
- Teach one-off workshops and festivals across South Lanarkshire.
- Support the broader leisure and cultural activity programme.
- Qualified keyboard tutor with experience teaching both children and adults.
- Desirable to travel throughout South Lanarkshire.
- Must comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; the role is regulated work with children and adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act 2007.
- Required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made.
- Foreign police check possible if worked abroad 3+ months in last 10 years.
