Conveniently located within easy reach of the M6, M62, and the larger North West motorway network, RNB Commercials Ltd stands as the largest VOSA test centre in the North West of England, testing over 4,000 vehicles annually.
Offering a comprehensive range of services including mobile workshops, commercial ATF and preparation, private vehicle MOTs, 24-hour roadside assistance, tacho centre, bodyshop, and workshop bays, RNB Commercials Ltd ensures top-notch service. Competitive pay up to 18 per hour is offered for shifts from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on light commercial vehicles (e.g., vans, light trucks) to manufacturer standards.
- Perform in-depth mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault diagnostics to identify, repair, or replace components.
- Conduct MOT preparations, safety inspections, and ensure all work meets safety regulations.
- Perform four-wheel geometry checks, brake system repairs, and engine/transmission repairs.
- Accurately document all work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs.
Skills, Experience, and
Education:
Communication:
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and customers.
Knowledge/Expertise:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with light commercial vehicles, preferably in fleet maintenance.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical, braking, and suspension systems.
