Reports To: Lodging Supervisor
Department: Lodging
Pay Rate: $18
Housing: No housing provided
Responsibilities- Follows detailed duties worksheet assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including; changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing according to procedures
- Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management
- Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs
- Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
- Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
- Assist in the unloading of linens (delivered by truck) bi-weekly
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
- Attention to detail and organization
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
- Comfortable working inside and outside, walking around the property throughout the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required
- Provide excellent customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Present a positive image of the company in an upbeat, professional manner
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required - Experience:
One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred;
Resort/National Park experience preferred
