Delivery Driver - Warehouse and Heavy Lifting

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various job sites and vendor locations throughout the Wasatch Front. This is a physically demanding role and requires the capability of lifting 50-75 lbs as needed throughout the day, and ideally has experience working in a warehouse or delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Responsible for loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and security.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and properly maintained.
• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and co-workers providing excellent customer service.
• Utilize basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication.
• Daily inspections ensure roadworthiness and safety.

Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, to move and organize products.

Other duties as assigned and needed by the organization

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar role preferred, including warehouse experience, and driving oversized vehicles. 26-foot body length box truck. F650. (Key aspects include navigating tight areas, planning wide turns, accounting for long stopping distances, and utilizing exhaust restriction on steep grades.)
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. (Ceramic Tile, Engineer wood/Solid Wood etc). Physical demanding job!
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Familiarity with using warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Basic computer literacy, comfortable using software for scheduling and communication.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Mature and responsible attitude towards work.
• Must be comfortable navigating around the local area with extended periods driving daily.

Flexible on schedule. From time to time, you may need to stay past your schedule shift to help us with the deliveries. Overtime may be necessary.
