3rd Year Apprentice Plumber

Utah Water Heaters Now LLC is looking for a licensed apprentice plumber, preferably located in Salt Lake County, who is looking to grow with a company and take the lead on all of our water heater installation jobs in Salt Lake County. Currently, this is a Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm position. The hired apprentice plumber will have with you a 'delivery and drain' assistant who will deliver the new units ahead of your arrival, unpackage them, and drain the old units.

The hired licensed apprentice plumber will disconnect the old unit and do the complete install of the new unit. The assistant will also haul away the old units. There will be bonuses each month when targets are met. The hired apprentice plumber will have the potential of earning over $100K per year with bonuses. Base wage and bonuses increase when the apprentice becomes a Journeyman.

• Take the lead on all tank water heater installation and replacement jobs in Salt Lake County
• Do the complete install of new tank water heaters and professionally replace old fittings and lines with new parts, fittings, lines, new expansion tanks, drain pans, etc.
• Work with an assistant to properly disconnect old water heaters. (Assistant will remove and haul away old unit)
• Properly secure and place Water Heater in a high quality and professional way as per all local code.
• Professional interaction and communication with customer to ensure a 5-Star Google Review
• Ability to use Phone or Tablet interface to review job info with customer and collect payment according.

• Minimum 3yrs experience as a licensed apprentice plumber
• Must demonstrate a clear knowledge of all code requirements related to water, gas, and vent connections.
• Demonstrated experience installing and replacing and tank water heaters
• Demonstrated experience handling complex plumbing problems as they arise (Be prepared to discuss in an interview your experience with our Master Plumber with over 30-years experience)
• EXCELLENT Customer Service and Communications Skills a MUST (Communication Skills will be assessed in an interview)
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems and come up with quality solutions
• MUST be responsible and show up to every scheduled job on-time
• MUST be well-groomed and ready to represent our company and brand in the highest standard as possible reflecting a 5-Star Service Company
