We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health care services by diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric disorders and promoting mental wellness in a supportive and collaborative environment. Each provider at our practice undergoes the Master Medication Training Program from renowned psychiatrist Dr.
Hans Watson.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess and diagnose mental health conditions in patients of all ages.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence‑based practices.
- Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting dosages as needed to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide high‑quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment plans, and holistic strategies for mental wellness.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric care and integrate new methods and practices as appropriate.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program focused on Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) recognized by a national certifying body.
- Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proven experience in a mental health setting, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- PA's are encouraged to apply if they hold a CAQ in Psychiatry.
