Associate Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for criminal law, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. This role requires excellent legal research skills and the ability to navigate complex legal issues while providing exceptional service to our clients. Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to criminal defense.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive client support.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
• Assist clients in understanding their rights and legal options.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Utah.
• Strong legal research skills and familiarity with legal databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
