Caregiver​/Personal Care Assistant

Overview

Legacy House of South Jordan in Utah is looking to hire a full or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver to join our assisted living team and provide quality senior care for our residents.

This entry-level caregiving position offers a competitive wage of $14 - $16/hour, depending on skills and experience. We provide our full-time employees with medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and 4 hours of paid time off (PTO) per pay period. All employees enjoy hotel discounts and a lagoon day.

• Help residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including dressing, bathing, grooming, and assistance with medications as requested.
• Help residents get to activities and meals, and perform light housekeeping.
• Document all services provided and report any significant changes in a resident's condition.
• Protect residents’ confidentiality and promote their independence and well-being while following sanitation, hygiene, and health standards.
• Engage with residents and contribute to a supportive, friendly team environment.

• CNA certification is preferred but not required. We will pay to certify the right person.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion; compassion and empathy; ability to work independently and as part of a team; highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Full-time or part-time schedule available.
• Shifts include: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM; 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM; 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM.
• Part-time employees typically work 2 to 3 shifts per week. Flexible schedules are available.
