Primary PurposeProvides services of both a technical and non‑technical nature in the laboratory service areas. Performs routine and complex laboratory tests in an assigned department of the clinical laboratory to provide physicians with rapid and accurate laboratory test results. Works under the direction of specialist, lead, and/or supervisor.

Hourly Rate- Hourly rate is an estimate only and includes shift differential for nights, evenings, or weekend shifts. Overall hourly rates will vary based on schedule.
- Performs waived, moderate, and/or highly complex analytic processes without direct supervision for which they are qualified, trained, and demonstrate competency according to established lab standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operates, calibrates, and troubleshoots laboratory instruments and ensures proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Recognizes when professional service is required and requests service if instrument is covered under a service contract; otherwise, reports service needs to supervisor for resolution.

This position requires an evaluation of education and credentials. Candidates must provide college/university transcripts (including transferred credits), degree certificates, and a letter from the school’s registrar stating the expected graduation date if enrolled in the last semester. Applications will be accepted from candidates within one semester or quarter of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology who have successfully completed the clinical rotation in the area of job duties.
Candidates hired as a Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist in Training will start with a minimum pay rate of $25.41/hr and have six months to obtain certification. Consecutive testing and additional restrictions may apply.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field.

MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP), MT (AAB) or MLS (AMT). - Licenses &
