Eye Care Technician - Optometric Assistant

Progressive Eyecare in South Jordan, UT is hiring a part-time Eye Care Technician – Optometric Assistant to join our friendly and professional eyecare team. $16–$18 per hour

• High school degree or equivalent
• English fluency, but Spanish fluency is a plus!
• Computer proficiency and typing skills
• Ability to work on your feet throughout your shift
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings

Eye care or medical assisting experience would be preferred, but we will train the right person.

This part-time healthcare position requires some evening and Saturday availability
. The schedule is as follows:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am–6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am–3:00 pm

As our Eye Care Technician - Optometric Assistant, you'll greet patients, gather their medical history, and assist with treatment plans. You'll perform preliminary eye tests and support the optometrist during specialized exams.
