The Engineering Manager leads the engineering function and is accountable for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all engineering deliverables.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and design professionals
• Establish clear priorities, workloads, and performance expectations
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence

• Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation
  
  Ensure designs are manufacturable and aligned with production capabilities
• Maintain high standards for accuracy and completeness of engineering output

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve engineering standards, procedures, and workflows
• Improve engineering efficiency, documentation control, and change management processes
• Support configuration management and data control within PDM/PLM systems

• Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and Procurement to ensure seamless handoff into fabrication and assembly
• Partner with Sales and Operations to support technical proposals and customer engagement
• Support project management teams to ensure engineering deliverables meet schedule commitments

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline required
• CAD certification (e.g., Solid Works Professional) or equivalent experience highly desirable
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or engineered systems environments
• 5+ years of experience leading an engineering or design team
• Proven track record delivering engineer-to-order (ETO) or design-build projects
• Experience working in regulated or code-driven environments preferred
• High proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works), 2D drafting tools, and PDM/PLM systems
• Working knowledge of pressure systems and applicable industry codes and standards
• Experience with mechanical systems, process equipment, vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, or pressure vessels preferred
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and collaborate with internal or third-party code specialists

• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing technical teams
• Strong organizational and project prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
