Cake Decorator

Overview

Under the direct supervision of a Bakery Manager, a Cake Decorator will prepare and decorate high‑volume cakes and desserts using standardized recipes and perform other related preparation and sanitation duties as required. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. Must be able to perform heavy lifting. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.

• Prepare and decorate high‑volume cakes and desserts using standardized recipes.
• Perform related preparation and sanitation duties as required.
• Follow instructions under the direct supervision of a Bakery Manager.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Perform heavy lifting as part of job duties.

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
• Ability to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, kneel, and perform other physical tasks typical of a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Hourly Pay Range:
Minimum wage (depending on location) up to $20.00 Hourly.
