Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0190) rting hourly rate: $19.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events; be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote Target loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and assist with features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features.
• Handle returns with assistance from leaders as needed, following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders, and DU returns; comply with applicable laws and store policies.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed.
• Scan, move, and stock merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds (without assistance).
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance; ability to stay mobile during shifts.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments, including conditions related to Drive-Up and carryout duties.
