Position is exclusively for RN graduates. New RN graduates with less than 1 year experience are welcomed.

• Participate in a training program to provide care, treatment, counseling, and health education to patients in the department.
• Support Medical Surgical and Telemetry Department initiatives and provide quality patient care.
• Manage individualized, goal‑directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
• Provide physical assessment, treatment, reassessment, discharge planning, and health education to the patient.
• Plan and coordinate care across the continuum, ensuring compliance with core measures, reducing LOS, and participating in quality, safety and performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public.

• Nursing school graduate (BSN preferred).
• New graduate RN with less than 1 year RN working experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
• Proficiency in written and oral English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current RN license in California.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
