Purchasing Agent​/Senior Buyer

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to join their client's dynamic team in California. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes through effective sourcing and procurement of materials. This position requires a strong focus on detail and data analysis to contribute to the organization's success.

• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Coordinate with logistics and production planning teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Resolve issues or disputes with suppliers promptly.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, production planning, and supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with materials management processes and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Experience working with ERP systems.

The role requires a full-time commitment with work hours typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary Range:
$30-$35 per hour
