Pay rate: $11.85/hr plus gratuity. The rate is based on skills and experience. This is a temporary position requiring 4-5 nights per week from May 10 to Oct 10.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Provide excellent guest service and knowledge of Custer State Park history, flora, wildlife, and the buffalo herd.
• Drive assigned routes and roads within the park.
• Maintain vehicles safely and comply with South Dakota driving laws.
• Obtain CPR and Basic First Aid certification.
• Serve meals at the chuck wagon cookout area and possibly other locations.
• Reload leftover food, unload vehicle at lodge and store, clean containers, and help with dishes.
• Maintain grounds end equipment in Parker Canyon.
• Assist in the kitchen during slow times to alleviate workload.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Common sense and ability to follow instructions.
• Problem‑solving skills for standardized situations.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to grasp, write, stand, walk, repeat motions, listen, hear, and use vision.
• Use hands, reach, climb, balance, and kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Work outdoors in varied weather. Moderate noise level.
