Yard Attendant

Yard Attendant – RP Constructors, LLC

The seasonal yard attendant is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations in the yard and shop. The duties and responsibilities are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient site while also supporting the overall field operations.

• Work with the field support manager, other shop employees, and field crews as required.
• Assist with delivery of tools, equipment, and supplies to area jobsites.
• General organizing and cleaning of the yard and shop areas.
• Repair tools and equipment as needed.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and loaders (or willingness to learn).
• Unload trucks and equipment and collect shipping and receiving tickets.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies.

• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must have a valid Driver's License. CDL B preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job: lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Able to identify materials, assist in load/unloading materials, and coordinate transportation of resources to different worksites.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a team play.

• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of industry safety and health protocols.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixers, forklifts, and power washers.
• Excellent physical dexterity and a keen eye for detail.
