Security Officer - Full-time at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.

Base pay: $25.00/hr

We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, reliable, and capable of protecting people, property and information. Former military and law‑enforcement experience encouraged.

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Secure entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or the scene of an incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers/signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• CPR, AED, First Aid, and AVADE certified.
• 1 year security, law‑enforcement, or military police experience preferred.
