Job Summary – RN PACU | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU for a 13-week contract assignment at a surgical hospital in South Dakota. This position follows a day shift schedule (08:00 AM – 08:30 PM) and involves providing high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
The PACU RN will be responsible for monitoring patients after anesthesia, assessing vital signs, managing pain and recovery, and ensuring safe transition to the next level of care. The role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition, and effective collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
Candidates should have recent PACU experience, strong knowledge of post-operative care protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment. Current RN licensure and required certifications are expected.
