Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team full-time. This position offers variable 12-hour shifts 3 times per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay differentials for nights/weekends included.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform timely and accurate patient assessments and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
- Supervise and assist nursing assistants.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in patient care planning and staff meetings.
- Current SD Registered Nurse licensure required.
- New nurses encouraged to apply.
- Experience in acute patient care/swingbed/emergency room is preferred, not required.
- Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
Work Environment:Indoor, safety-sensitive, requiring physical presence on site.
