We are seeking a versatile Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) assignment in South Dakota. This role is covering vacancies and offers guaranteed full-time hours with a mix of day and evening shifts. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable assisting across multiple nursing functions.

Assignment Details

• Location: South Dakota

• Contract Length: 8 weeks

• Start Date: February 2, 2026 (or sooner)

• Shift Mix: 5x8s – Days & Evenings

  • Days: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Evenings: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday (if within contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to SNF/LTC residents

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

• Perform treatment nurse and charge nurse duties as needed

• Assist with all areas of nursing care following cross-training

• Document care accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• SNF/LTC experience preferred

• Willingness to work both day and evening shifts

• Ability to rotate weekends and holidays

• Flexible and comfortable covering multiple nursing roles

• Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
