Job Summary

Are you the type of person who is driven to make a real impact by following established processes for assembly of high-quality Vermeer equipment? In this role you will follow digital instructions to perform a variety of skills and tasks as you work with a team to ensure high quality work that meets our customers' needs. We’re looking for a dedicated team player to build machines for customers across the globe.

What

You’ll Do

Follow provided job instructions to assemble equipment and subassemblies for attachment to equipment per Vermeer’s quality standards.

Align components and bolts then fasten them according to torque specifications, install moving parts and test to ensure parts move as intended.

Inspect painted parts to ensure quality.

Apply decals, company logos, safety warning notices and other items to the finished product. May also attach doors, panels and other machine guarding.

Calculate figures and apply basic mathematical functions including fractions and decimals.

Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offer suggestions and improvements that assist in achieving the department’s performance board metrics.
