Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established company in the meat industry who is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join their leadership team. This organization has been operating for over 20 years, with multiple plants across the Midwest, and is known for its strong company culture and commitment to promoting from within.
The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee the maintenance operations of the facility, leading a team of approximately 16 employees, including 3 supervisors. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance within a food production environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management experience in a maintenance role
- Strong electrical and general mechanical knowledge
- Hands-on experience with coolers and conveyor systems
- Background in the food or meat processing industry preferred
- Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base + extended hours pay and bonuses (total potential up to $120,000)
