Job Description

This position requires travel 100% of the time within an hour radius and may include up to 50% out-of-state travel via car or plane. The role involves weekend work, compensated with a special pay rate and potential overtime about 5% of the time. It is ideal for curious, mechanically-minded problem-solvers who enjoy diagnosing issues and working with their hands. Strong communicators are needed to interact confidently with customers, explain findings, and build trust.

Candidates should be reliable professionals with a high sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through, thriving in autonomous environments, comfortable with independent work, traveling, and managing their own schedule.

Responsibilities

* Diagnose and solve mechanical and technical issues.

* Interact with customers to explain findings and build trust.

* Travel to various customer sites, including clean rooms, medical device, and pharmaceutical facilities.

* Perform scanning filters, partial counting, pressure, and temperature testing within clean rooms.

* Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems.

* Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and test procedures.

* Ensure precision, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Skills

* Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.

* Electromechanical equipment knowledge.

* Mathematical skillset.

* 2+ years of experience in electromechanics.

* Valid driver's license.

* Proficiency in Excel data entry.

* Ability to use service software, tablets, and reporting tools.

Skills & Qualifications

* Certification in NSF and CETA provided through paid training.

* Electro-mechanical skills, troubleshoot both mechanical or electrical systems.

* Presentation skills to maintain a clean appearance.

* Communication skills to interact with various professionals.

* Comfortable with climbing ladders, lifts, or duct work.

* Full-body gowning required in cleanroom settings.

Work Environment

Technicians will travel to customer sites, including clean rooms, medical device, and pharmaceutical facilities, and work on equipment such as Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets, Medical HVAC Systems, Laminar Flows, and Autoclaves. The role requires full-body gowning, including booties, lab coat, gloves, hair net, and beard net while in the cleanroom setting. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
