Looking for a meaningful career with the flexibility to choose your schedule? This position is as needed or PRN, work as you are able when there is open nursing shifts  is dependent on years of experience, with RN $33.37-$39.61 per hour and LPN $25.83-$30.70 per hour.

This position provides professional-level nursing services at the South Dakota Developmental Center that require the application of basic nursing principles, practices, and techniques following established healthcare procedures and standards. Employees in this role usually operate in a patient care environment where the focus is on the healthcare of individuals.

Must be licensed or be eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota (associate degree, bachelor's degree, or 3-year diploma). The nursing level depends on the qualifications and experience of the incumbent. All certificates and/or tests required for performance at this level must be obtained and/or completed.

Experience working with adolescents or adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or educational background in psychology, sociology, counseling, or another related field is requested.
