Overview
ON SITE TRAINING AVAILABLE!
Reports To: County Treasurer
Classification: Non-Exempt
Introductory Period: 6 Months
Self-Termination Notice Expectation: Two Weeks
General Statement of Duties- Performs duties as assigned by the Treasurer
- Serves the public at the counter
- Processes financial information and prepares reports
- Balances various books and ledgers
- Maintains files
- Transfers titles
- Issues driver’s licenses
Assumes the responsibility for the operation of the office in the Treasurer’s absence
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have a strong affinity for figures and be able to perform mathematical calculations in a prompt and efficient manner
- Must be able to operate office equipment (including a computer)
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to meet and deal with the public in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Must be fingerprinted and pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug test
