The VP, Finance will lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes for controllership. The role also involves leading a team of finance professionals of multiple skill-sets and collaborating closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision making.

This permanent position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to high-level strategic financial decisions and operations in a dynamic industry environment.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and general ledger process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Collaborate with financial management teams to analyze department finances and develop budgets that align with the organization s goals.
• Mentor and manage teams within the finance department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Engage with senior management to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
• Implement and oversee financial control systems and processes to manage risk and exposure for the organization.

• Expertise in strategic financial planning and execution within an insurance industry context.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a diverse finance team.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Proven success as a Finance Business Partner, demonstrating the ability to align financial management strategies with business objectives.
• Robust understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
