Geotechnical Project Manager

Requirements Must have:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer license or on track to obtain P.E. license upon fulfilling experience criteria
• 4-8+ years of pertinent experience in geotechnical engineering, encompassing field investigations, laboratory assessments, and geotechnical analyses
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with proficiency in interpreting and evaluating geotechnical data
• Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with skillful presentation of technical information to clients and project groups
• Capacity to operate both independently and as part of a team, juggling multiple projects and deadlines effectively

• Plan, coordinate, and manage geotechnical investigations, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget restrictions
• Oversee and/or supervise geotechnical field activities, including soil boring observations, test pit studies, and in-field sampling/testing to evaluate subsurface conditions
• Monitor geotechnical testing and compliance during construction, confirming adherence to design recommendations and material specifications
• Analyze geotechnical data, perform engineering evaluations, and generate comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, delivering clear technical guidance and project updates
• Remain informed about industry trends, codes, and regulations pertaining to geotechnical engineering, leveraging this knowledge to improve project results
