AboutThe Role
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Student Wellbeing and International Support Coordinator to join the Student Wellbeing & Support Team. Reporting to the Manager, Student Wellbeing & Support, the role supports the coordination, implementation and evaluation of programs designed to foster student resilience, retention and overall wellbeing for our international students. You will work closely with faculties, business units, support service providers and community partners to deliver holistic, student‑centred support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality guidance, support and advice to students and staff to enhance engagement, wellbeing and success.
- Support the development, delivery and evaluation of early‑intervention and retention‑focused initiatives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of sector‑wide wellbeing programs, particularly those supporting equity cohorts throughout the student lifecycle.
- Deliver specialised wellbeing and international student support
- Oversight of pastoral care and administrative processes for Under 18 international students.
- Case management of students experiencing complex personal circumstances impacting study.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and represent the University in relevant networks.
- Data collection and record keeping monitoring and evaluating activities.
To be considered for this role, you will be empathetic, solutions‑focused and highly collaborative. You will have strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships across diverse groups, and the confidence to manage sensitive or complex student matters with care and professionalism. The role is campus‑based and requires onsite presence.
