Locums, Inc. is seeking caring and nurturing Pediatric Physicians for Inpatient and Outpatient coverage at the IHS Hospital located in Pine Ridge, SD. Located on the Pine Ridge Reservation and serving the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe, the Pine Ridge Hospital is considered a Level 1 facility for Pediatric services. All state and Federal licenses accepted at all government facilities.

About the Opportunity:

- Pediatrician will be directly responsible for providing patient care in the Pediatric outpatient clinic/inpatient unit, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Emergency Department while adhering to the policies and procedures of the Pine Ridge Hospital
- Period of performance will be from 8/1/20 to 11/30/20
- Daily weekly schedule is 8am to 4:30pm with a Sunday clinic requirement of 12pm to 5pm. Extended scheduling on occasion will be 8am to 7pm during the week - Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday On-call shared with partnering Pediatrician
- Hourly, Per Diem, and Malpractice coverage provided
- Located in Pine Ridge, SD Requirements:

- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license - Active and unrestricted DEA
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications
- Current vaccinations and immunizations - 3 Letters of Reference from supervisors and peers
- Records of 3 years of CME
- Experience w/ Native American population preferred
