Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Sam's Club is hiring for a Sales/Stocking and Merchandising role. The hourly wage range is $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr, and actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This position involves moving inventory, stocking shelves, unloading trucks, helping members, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. It can be physically demanding and is fast-paced."

• Unloading trucks and promptly stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
• Assisting fellow associates and engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area; ensuring proper product rotation, dating, and display standards
• Providing member service, identifying member needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services
• Ensuring club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to company policy and procedures
• Following safety procedures, including forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Maintaining sales floor presentation by zoning, stocking, organizing merchandise, and removing damaged goods
• Completing work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and adapting to changes
