Maintenance Supervisor Overview:

Dynamic leader needed to oversee repair shop as Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring efficiency and teamwork. Manage staff, coordinate schedules, and oversee workflows while contributing hand-on to equipment maintenance, repair, and remanufacture. Strong organizational and communication skills required as Maintenance Supervisor.

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor employees, perform quality checks.

• Communicate to office staff to maintain efficiency and help manage lead times with vendors and stay on schedule.
• Lead and supervise the shop team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Coordinate repair projects, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Develop and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

• Monitor shop performance metrics and prepare reports for management

Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:

• Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical system, and powertrain components, etc. associated with heavy machinery and/or mining sector
• Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Welding and Fabrication
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Previous diesel engine experience or automotive experience is a plus
• Knowledge of inventory management and safe work best practices.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
