Careers at A Special Touch In Home Care:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will enhance the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily living activities. Responsibilities include helping with hygiene, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, and more to improve clients' living environments and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, caring, and dependable.

Schedules available: 9 am - 4 pm or 9 am - 2:30 pm

• Providing companionship and engaging in conversation
• Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing
• Supporting mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Performing light housekeeping
• Reminding clients to take medications
• Running errands and shopping
• Educating family members on safe care techniques

• MUST live within 10 miles of Campbells Creek, WV
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking skills
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Tolerance for small pets
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
• Hoyer Lift experience is a plus
