Job Description:
West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in South Charleston, WV at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will practice obstetrics and gynecology as part of the WVU Health System. Specific duties include providing patient care in the South Charleston, WV area at Thomas Memorial Hospital, and fulfilling duties as assigned by the employer.
QualificationsCandidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Successful candidates must have completed an OBGYN residency program. They must be board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
LocationWest Virginia’s capital city, Charleston, is positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk Rivers, with convenient access via major interstates. Charleston offers history, arts, and riverfront recreation and culture.
