True Timber is a design, distribution, and sourcing company, with over 90 employees, located in Inman, SC. The company specializes in apparel, textiles, marine components, hydrographic film and outdoor recreational accessories.
True Timber is currently seeking a self-motivated, highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This role will ensure inventory integrity across receiving, put-away, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and shipping, while working closely with Operations and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities- Execute cycle counts and support physical inventories
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Process and track inventory adjustments, variances, and shrink
- Validate inventory transactions across receiving, picking, and shipping
- Support inventory accuracy across locations, bins, and statuses
- Assist with audits and escalate recurring inventory issues.
- All other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of inventory systems (Net Suite, RF-Smart, or similar)
- Understanding of warehouse inventory transactions and controls
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fulfillment environment
- 1-3 years in inventory control/operations within a warehouse or fulfillment environment (apparel inventory experience a plus)
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
