Raw Material Handler

• Unload all incoming Shipments, perform visual and physical inspection of incoming and outgoing shipment for damages, record shortages, and correspond with vendor/courier, to rectify damages and shortages
• Compare Bill of Lading and Packing Slip against actual merchandise received
• Perform and execute functions relating to Raw Materials/Spare Parts preparation, staging and outbound shipments
• Responsible for making sure all Raw Materials is pull by FEFO for outgoing shipments
• Responsible for scheduling shipments, updating schedule, filing and organizing documents, verifying requisitions, shipping locations and seals
• Create shipping documents, such as Bill of lading and Packing Slip
• Direct movement of shipment to appropriate storage assign areas, to avoid personal injury, damage to equipment, material product, and facility, using Sit Down Fork lifts, or Manual Pallet Jacks
• Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Prepare outgoing shipment, such as Freight, Ground, or International shipping
• Ensuring Receiving follows all applicable Health and Safety Regulations and other company-related policies and procedures
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customer and co-workers with locating, selecting, and loading product.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Train new or less experience Receiving Team Members
• Report all safety or mechanical problems to management
• Performs other essential job functions as assigned
