Responsibilities

Three Rivers Behavioral Health is a 136-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for adolescents and adults. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. INTERNSHIP

SUMMARY:

Students will be supervised by a Licensed Professional Counselor. Students have the opportunity to complete hours for their Practicum and their Internship. Students will have the opportunity to rotate through each Outpatient Program:
Psych Partial, Hospitalization Program, Trauma Recovery Program, Psych Intensive, Outpatient Program and Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program. Write integrative summaries and learn how our facility impacts the community.

• Participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach
• Plan and facilitate Psycho-educational groups and therapeutic processing groups
• Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
