Who are we? An IntroductionRytech of the Midlands is seeking an experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing water damage restoration projects, leading field technicians, and ensuring that all work meets Rytech’s high standards of quality, safety, and customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the restoration industry, including water mitigation, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and demolition practices.
Your day as a Water Damage Mitigation TechnicianRytech of the Midlands is on the lookout for a skilled Lead Water Mitigation Technician to spearhead restoration projects and mentor field technicians. In this pivotal role, you will manage water damage jobs from initial assessments through to successful completion, ensuring that every project aligns with Rytech’s high standards of quality, safety, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in restoration, including water mitigation, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, structural drying, and demolition.
You will leverage your proven leadership abilities to train and support junior technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Would you be a great Water Damage Mitigation Technician ?To excel as a Lead Water Mitigation Technician at Rytech of the Midlands, you will need a robust set of skills and experience in various areas. Proven hands‑on expertise in water, fire, and mold restoration is essential, along with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, moisture mapping, and structural drying processes. Proficiency with demolition tools and mitigation equipment, as well as familiarity with construction practices, will be crucial for managing projects effectively.
As an effective leader, you will need to inspire and manage field teams, ensuring high standards are met. Strong communication skills will help you engage effectively with homeowners, adjusters, and team members, facilitating seamless operations. Additionally, the ability to work independently while juggling multiple projects is vital for success in this role.
A valid driver’s license with an approved MVR is also required for travel and equipment transport, ensuring you can reach project sites reliably.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
