What You'll Do As an Access Control Installer, you'll work hands-on in the field installing and supporting physical security systems in commercial environments.

* Key Responsibilities:

* * Install and service access control hardware including door strikes, mag locks, crash bars, sensors, and card readers

* Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6; fiber experience a plus)

* Assist with access control, CCTV, and security system installations

* Troubleshoot wiring, hardware, and basic system issues

* Work on job sites such as schools, government buildings, and commercial facilities

* Collaborate with project teams and report to different job sites as needed

* Perform physical installation work including ladder use, drilling, lifting, and overhead work

* Required Qualifications:

* * Interested in access control, low voltage, or security installation (Prior experience level will determine pay)

* Strong job tenure and a history of reliability

* Ability to perform physical installation work in commercial environments

* Willingness to learn new systems and improve technical skills

* Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic

* Preferred Experience (Not Required):
* * Access control platforms such as Lenel, S2, Genetec, or similar

* Door hardware and electrified locking systems

* Experience with manufacturers like Allegion or ASSA ABLOY

* Commercial low voltage or electrical apprentice experience

* CCTV or VMS installation experience
Pay & Schedule

* * Pay:* $18-$25 per hour, based on relevant experience

* Schedule:

* Typically four 10-hour days

* Occasional Friday work may be required, but it is rare

Work Environment You'll work on-site at commercial facilities, schools, and government locations. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and professional growth.

* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
