Spratlin Electric is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to join our team in Columbia, SC. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned commercial electrician who thrives in fast-paced commercial construction environments and is ready to lead crews on projects ranging from ground-up builds to complex renovations.

As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day field operations for our electrical construction projects, manage a team of electricians and apprentices, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with NEC code and job specifications. We’re looking for a reliable leader who has deep knowledge of commercial wiring methods, electrical systems, and construction site operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate crews on commercial job sites, ensuring top-quality electrical installations
• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings
• Manage all phases of commercial electrical work including conduit bending, panel installations, switch gear, transformers, lighting systems, and power distribution
• Enforce all safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance on every job site
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation including schedules, progress reports, and time tracking
• Communicate effectively with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and team members
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure that systems function efficiently and meet all project specifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction
• At least 2 years of leadership experience as a Commercial Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Electrical Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and commercial electrical systems
• Experience working with commercial wiring, installation of lighting systems, service panels, and electrical distribution
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of electricians, journeymen, and apprentices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• South Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
