Maintenance Mechanic

Perform maintenance on electric forklifts, lp gas lifts, sweepers, scrubbers, wrapping machines, mechanical doors, conveyor systems, and other equipment assigned. Willing to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.

1st 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Perform maintenance on electric forklifts, lp gas lifts, sweepers, scrubbers, wrapping machines, mechanical doors, conveyor systems, and other equipment assigned
• Inspect, adjust and replace safety devices/mechanisms, etc. and damaged and wearable parts
• Assist in any project related to maintaining the facilities
• Attend and successfully complete any training as assigned by management
• Records and enters data into computer
• Assist other mechanics in other technical areas as needed
• Perform maintenance on MDI warehouse powered door curtains and conveyor systems
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, read and write
• Must be able to work in all warehouse environments
• May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervision

• High school diploma or GED and a mechanical certificate
• Previous experience in maintenance
• Can be certified to drive a lift and pallet jack
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact well with Supervisors and co-workers
• Good organizational skills
