Pipefitter

We are seeking experienced pipe fitters to join our team for a large-scale data center project located in Saint George, South Carolina. The pipe fitters will play a critical role in supporting the construction and installation of generator systems, ensuring all piping and exhaust components are properly fitted and secured.

• Assist in generator assembly by installing piping systems and related components.
• Install exhaust mufflers and connect them to generator units.
• Work with 20‑inch flanges, gaskets, and other fittings to ensure proper alignment and sealing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations.
• Use appropriate tools and techniques to cut, thread, weld, and bolt pipes into place.
• Inspect completed systems for quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades and project teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.

• Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial or construction settings.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems, exhaust assemblies, and mechanical installations.
• Ability to work with large‑diameter piping (20‑inch) and heavy‑duty components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.

• Familiarity with tools such as pipe cutters, fusion machines, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Experience with HDPE fusion techniques and steel pipe welding is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint George, SC.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint George, SC.
