- Provide customer service to clients at an automotive manufacturing and/or service location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors; assist with visitor management and control of deliveries and/or shipments per site procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written logs and reports; communicate relevant observations and/or trends to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
- Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security‑related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
