As a Security Officer - Unarmed Courtesy Patrol in Columbia, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a public‑sector location, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to reduce security‑related incidents. You will assist with access points and visitor flow, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. You will join a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, guided by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Full Time

$17.95 / Hour

Day / Night Shift: Thursday 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM, Friday 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, including building interiors, common areas, and perimeter locations; work environments and conditions may vary by site.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
