Police Officer

The Police Officer (Class
1) provides law enforcement, security, and protection for the University of South Carolina community and property. Incumbents are certified police officers in accordance with South Carolina Code of Laws, empowered with full arrest and police authority statewide. Individuals in this position enforce state laws and University rules/regulations. Performs duties of a patrol officer, provides dignitary security, and assists with critical incidents.
