As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter potential security‑related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and guests.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Tue 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Thurs 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at the residential location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify unusual activity.
• Assist residents and visitors with inquiries and provide information about access procedures as needed.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary.

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
