Loan Officer – Bilingual in English & Spanish

OverviewWe regularly have open Loan Officer positions across the US. If you are a bilingual Loan Officer in CO, FL, NC, SC, TN, or TX, consider applying. Your role as a Field Loan Officer will center on establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face‑to‑face interactions, conducting on‑site meetings, and guiding customers through the mortgage process in adherence to the Lennar Mortgage roadmap.
Responsibilities- Business Development and Customer Relations
:
Strategize and implement outside sales activities, lead lead generation through prospecting, conduct “First Time Homebuyer Seminars,” travel to builder and realtor functions, and proactively engage with communities to explain the company’s offerings. - Customer‑Centric Approach
:
Offer tailored recommendations on mortgage solutions, review and lock interest rates at least fifteen days prior to closing, and maintain strict adherence to regulations throughout the loan origination process. - Lead Management and Communication
:
Daily review of leads, proactive outreach to prospective customers via telephone and email, and ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders. - Loan Origination and Advisory
:
Originate and prepare new loans, adhere to regulations outlined in the “Loan Officer” agreement, and recommend the most suitable mortgage products aligned with customers’ needs. - Sales Support, Metrics, and Reporting
:
Provide assistance to New Home Consultants, maintain detailed reports within the origination computer system, and contribute to the development of a pipeline for outside sales.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four‑year college degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of loan originating experience.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation.
- NMLS license & specific state license or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Fluent in Spanish – Speaking and Writing (preferred).
- Self‑starter and able to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences to customers.
- Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Proficient in mortgage industry software and tools.
Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is essential. The job requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment in excess of 50 pounds, and may require occasional operation of construction equipment.
