Sr. Account Executive - SLED - the Carolinas

Our UDT team is looking for an achievement-driven Account Executive with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building to contribute to UDT’s growth. This role’s primary focus is to build customer portfolio mainly focusing on recurring revenue business. A successful Account Executive will understand the customer challenges and map solutions to our portfolio of offers that can help the customer be successful addressing those challenges.

The ability to acquire new customers and maintain and grow existing accounts are foundational success factors for this position. It is important to be able to maintain a healthy sales pipeline supporting the quarterly achievement of sales quota. We are looking for someone with experience inSLEDSales.

This person should be located in North or South Carolina.

Requirements / Duties
  • Responsible for the management of the full sales cycle for each client.
  • Identifies leads and generates new business opportunities for the provision of I.T. products and services solutions.
  • Maintains existing client relationships, identifies existing needs, and cultivates a partnership to help grow and maximize new business opportunities.
  • Manages account portfolio and establishes short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management.
  • Negotiates with peers, partners and customers using a win/win philosophy.
  • Works in partnership with the sales support personnel to attain best pricing quotes and help close deals.
  • Involves engineers in client meetings and collaborates in providing best solution for the client.
  • Serves as liaison with vendor manufacturer field sales representatives and maintains solid and credible business relationships with each.
