The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)As a FAST Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts with the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store-specific measurements and layout initiatives.
- Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask to add value. - Ensure a shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
- Provide peak coverage as needed, e.g., Day After Thanksgiving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.
- Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
- Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
- Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
- Adherence to safety guidelines to promote a safe environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, and climb ladders frequently.
- Operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
- Handle and be in contact with birds/poultry.
- Complete all training requirements.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts if qualified.
- Physical stamina to move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas.
